About Julian
Julian J. Cobian is a Mexican-American poet who indulges in travel, connecting with various
cultures and has a unique way of capturing the everyday human experience. He collects words
from serendipitous interactions with random people. Growing up as a border kid with family
both in San Diego, CA and Tijuana, Mexico, he has had an immersive bilingual experience in the
English and Spanish language, art and perspective of both cultures. To further expand his
worldview, he then traveled to London, England to earn a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from
Kingston University.
