Bringing
creative writing, conversation, and craft into classrooms.
For Educators & Institutions
I bring to the classroom a practice rooted in voice, curiosity, and community. My teaching centers on helping students develop confidence in their writing while learning how to read generously, revise thoughtfully, and support both their own work and the work of others.
With an MFA in Creative Writing and international study experience in London England, I approach writing as a craft that you nurture and cultivate. My courses emphasize close reading, workshop dialogue, reflective revision, and culturally responsive practices that honor students’ diverse backgrounds and stories. I believe the classroom is a collaborative space—one where clarity, patience, and encouragement allow students to take creative risks and grow.
My work as a poet, novelist, and educator informs a pedagogy that values presence over performance and process over perfection. Whether teaching creative writing, literature, or composition, my goal is to help students strengthen their voice, trust their instincts, and leave the classroom more connected to their work—and to themselves.
